Twenty years shipping software — and now I point that experience at AI. I build LLM-driven tooling and autonomous agents that do real work, then wire them into the full-stack .NET and TypeScript systems I've shipped my whole career. Available for freelance & consulting.
I've been writing software professionally for over 20 years — leading builds, rescuing and modernizing legacy systems, and mentoring the teams around me. My foundation is enterprise C#/.NET and Angular, hardened by agile, pair programming, and test-driven development. Lately I've paired that engineering discipline with AI: designing prompts, building autonomous agents, and orchestrating LLM tooling that ships — not demos. I like the hard, unglamorous problems: the abandoned codebase, the migration nobody wants, the system that has to keep running.
Freelance & consulting engagements, remote. Four things I do well:
End-to-end enterprise apps in C#/.NET Core and Angular, backed by SQL and Microsoft Azure. Requirements to production, with CI/CD and performance tuning along the way.
Inherited an abandoned or aging system? That's my specialty — I've rewritten legacy PHP into C#/.NET, rescued sites left by other developers, and led migrations without stopping the business.
LLM integration, prompt design, evaluations, and structured-output pipelines — practical AI features grafted onto real products, with guardrails and cost in mind.
Agentic control loops and orchestration that actually run unattended: queues, model-by-effort budgeting, review gates, and self-healing. Automation that survives contact with the real world.
Not demos — AI-assisted delivery running inside a real engineering team: autonomous agents, multi-agent TDD pipelines, and verification guardrails. Client and employer details redacted.
A scheduled loop where an AI agent independently pulls tickets from the team's tracker, investigates root cause, plans a fix, implements it, and opens a draft PR with generated test scenarios — never auto-merging. Governed by a token budget, clock windows, a kill switch, and an anti-rework ledger that caps retries per ticket to stop runaway loops.
Splits feature and bug work across specialized agents — research, test-writing, implementation, review, spec-compliance, QA generation — each seeing only what it needs. Implementation agents are kept blind to acceptance criteria (they see only failing tests) to prevent "testing to the answer," while cheaper models handle review and stronger models handle code generation.
After a database fix shipped on inspection alone and recurred in production within two weeks, I built a skill that forces any AI-authored stored-procedure change to compile and run against a real local database before it can be marked done — directly eliminating a recurring defect class caused by unverified LLM-asserted fixes.
A skill that interrogates a proposed plan adversarially until every open question and edge case is resolved. A variant cross-checks the plan against the project's domain vocabulary and architecture-decision records, updating them live as ambiguity clears. Packaged for reuse across projects.
Used an LLM to plan and partially execute large modernization efforts — a framework version upgrade, a front-end architecture migration, and data-access-layer changes — generating multi-week staged execution plans plus automated functional-parity audits that compare old vs. new component behavior before cutover.
Authored internal docs and a library of slash-commands and prompts — ticket planning, implementation, backend and frontend test generation — so other developers and QA staff could adopt the same AI-assisted TDD workflow, including setup for connecting an MCP server to the team's work-tracking system.
Set up a local open-weight coding model to handle low-stakes draft text (documentation, retrospectives) while reserving cloud-hosted frontier models for code generation and reasoning-heavy work — concrete cost-aware model selection inside a production workflow.
My own studio, run outside the day job. Claude Code agents build, test, and release under my direction; I own the product calls, the review, and the playtesting. Since July 2026 it has shipped a catalogue of game mods for Unity and Unreal titles, published under a studio name on a major mod marketplace. Links to the live work on request.
Each release builds against the oldest game version it claims to support, cuts a git tag and a GitHub release, and uploads through the marketplace API. A second site with no write API is published by driving its web UI over the Chrome DevTools Protocol. A ship audit then checks every live listing against its repo, and the public catalogue page regenerates itself.
Dedicated game servers and a windowless game client that the agents start and drive themselves. A change passes only when its boot log and captured frames prove it works. A cgroup memory-budget scheduler queues heavy test jobs so they never starve the interactive work on the same machine.
C# Harmony patches into a Unity game, including server-only builds that run with anti-cheat on and stay compatible with unmodded players, plus C++ and Lua mods on Unreal through UE4SS. Every mod declares the game versions it supports, and the catalogue is localized for Russian and Simplified Chinese players.
A census of all 9,000+ mods in the marketplace section, pulled over its public GraphQL API, ranks the catalogue against every other author and normalizes trends to site-wide traffic. A coverage finder searches video and forum archives for third-party reviews that never tag the author.
Also — independent R&D: a reusable autonomous game-agent framework (CDP heap-walk control loops across three engines) and a live shipped HTML5 product with a generative-AI asset pipeline. Details on request.
Senior developer across multiple enterprise applications in C#, .NET Core, SQL, and Angular. Lead development efforts and code reviews, translate requirements into scalable solutions, stand up CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure, and mentor junior developers.
Led cleanup and repair of an external website abandoned by a previous developer, working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements. Stack: .NET Core, Angular 2+, Microsoft Azure.
My own software consultancy. Earlier engagements ran in partnership with Altec Design, LLC across PHP (Laravel), Angular 2+, WordPress, Phaser 3 (TypeScript), and Unity 2D. Active today as my vehicle for independent AI and full-stack consulting — LLM tooling, autonomous-agent development, and modernization of legacy C#/.NET and TypeScript systems — and home of my AI-agent studio, which has shipped 30+ game-mod products since July 2026.
Key member of a small team that rewrote and upgraded an aging PHP system into C#/.NET. Worked agile with pair programming and TDD, led multiple projects end to end, and guided system migration and redevelopment.
Designed and built web applications for a range of clients — configuring servers, managing databases, and developing UI/UX. Delivered a mobile-friendly site for a major regional car dealership.
Built bug patches and acted as liaison between users and the development team, then rewrote the support-desk application to improve its UI and support efficiency.
Automated internal processes with Python — earning a promotion onto the web team — then built new Zen Cart modules, integrated updates, and improved SEO and UX.
